Radim Stach
Founding Partner, has 17 years of experience in Private Equity. He founded OnyxCapital in 1997. From 1997 to 2010, Radim developed and managed investment activities for group of Riverside Europe Funds in CEE and Turkey. He was a member of REF investment committee. He has also served as Chairman or Vice-Chairman in Boards of Directors of several companies. Prior founding OnyxCapital Radim worked as investment manager with Regional Enterprise Fund, a Czech venture capital & Private Equity fund. He served on Boards of four portfolio companies.
Radims´ other assignments in Private Equity included advisory to the Czech government on key changes in Private Equity environment in the Czech Republic. He also participated in composition of EVCA White Papers on Czech Private Equity Market. From 2005 to 2012, Radim served as a board member of CVCA Radim earned a Masters degree from University of Economics Prague (VSE) in International Business, a Masters degree from Charles University in Law and a Master of Business Administration from Manchester Metropolitan University.
Vladimir Pavala
Partner, has 14 years of experience in Private Equity. He has been working with Onyx Capital since 1998. Vladimir was involved in development and management of investments for Riverside Europe Funds in Central European Countries. He has served as a member of Board of Directors or Supervisory Board in several companies. Vladimir is particularly responsible for financial analyses and modeling. Prior his career with Onyx Capital Vladimir worked as CFO in Spofa Dental, a manufacturer of non metalic dental materials, where he managed operational restructuring processes and implementation of new information systems.
Vladimir earned a Masters degree from the Czech Technical University (ČVUT) in Electro technology and graduated in several courses of business administration at the University of St. Gallen and the University of Economics in Prague.
Martin Mikulas
Associated Partner, has 3 years of experience in Private Equity. He has been working with Onyx Capital since 2011. He is mainly responsible for deal origination in Slovakia and manages relationships with Slovak clubs of investors and Slovak mezzanine providers. Given his previous experience Martin is also responsible for identification of new managers for portfolio companies. Prior his co-operation with Onyx Capital Martin worked as Executive search manager and advisor for private companies in pharmaceutical, FMCG and manufacturing industry in Slovakia and Czech Republic.
Martin earned a Masters degree in Philosophy and Theology from the Comenius University in Bratislava and Doctoral degree in philosophy from Constantine the Philosopher University.
